There is one thing I am constantly trying to do in my life - and that is to simplify. I know that when my life is simple and free of "clutter" that I am the happiest and feel most energized. One way I do this is by using products that make simple living easy. This includes anything from my food to my clothing and especially the products I'm putting on my body.

When it comes hair care, AVEENO PURE RENEWAL® Shampoo and Conditioner from Walmart, contains naturally derived cleansers and a sulfate free formula to gently cleanse your hair and scalp. It's important for me to know what exactly I am putting in and on my body. That's why I choose products like AVEENO PURE RENEWAL® Shampoo and Conditioner, so I know I'm one step closer to reaching my healthy-living goals!

And when it comes to the things that are cleaning my clothing, all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS®, from Walmart, is an easy choice that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I love knowing that the sulfate-free formula gives my clothing a deep clean and combats even the toughest stains, with essential and effective ingredients. NEW sulfate free all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® delivers a powerful clean without harshness. You can find it on the top shelf of the laundry aisle at Walmart.
To help inspire your desire for living a simpler life, I decided to share this no-sew laundry bag DIY that is perfect for holding your dirty clothes at home or on the go! Pack it up in your suitcase to keep your clean and dirty clothes separated while traveling or hang it in the closet for everyday use. And bonus, this laundry bag doubles as a gift bag! Fill it with all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS®, AVEENO PURE RENEWAL® Shampoo and Conditioner, and other travel and/or simple cleaning products and gift it to a traveler, graduate, or friend in your life!
DIY Laundry Bag Supplies
Small/Queen sized laundry bag
Cording
Hard and flat insert you can get paint on - I used an old cutting board
Toxin-free fabric paint
Painting sponge or brushes
Scissors
Lighter
Paper plate
Safety pin

Directions
First prepare your workspace by laying down a drop cloth, just in case. Next, place your flat object inside your pillowcase, and gather the excess pillow case at the back of the flat object, to prevent any paint from bleeding through and to keep your pillowcase taught. Place a quarter sized drop of paint on your paper plate and use your sponge/brushes to paint on your design. For my design, I used a stencil to make sure I got the look I want as I am not a talented painter... Once you've finished painting, allow the paint to dry before removing your flat object.
After it has dried, fold the open top portion over so you are working on the INSIDE of the edge of the pillowcase. On either side of the seam, separate the two layers of fabric (you won't be able to completely separate, since it is one piece of fabric folded over and sewn together, but separate the sides so you don't cut all the way through) and cut a small hole on either side. Pin your safety pin to the end of your cording, and thread it through one hole, all the way through the top of the pillowcase, and out the other hole. Use the lighter to burn the edges of the holes and the ends of the cording to prevent any fraying (please be careful!), and you're done!
Now that you have an adorable laundry bag, either keep it for yourself or fill it with some travel and cleaning essentials for a quick and easy gift! This is especially perfect for the new graduate or world traveler! I filled mine with a travel journal, clothespins, some travel sized/reusable containers, all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS®, and AVEENO PURE RENEWAL® Shampoo and Conditioner.
What items would you fill your laundry bag with? Would you gift it or keep it for yourself? Tip: pillowcases come in packs of two - perfect for keeping AND gifting!
