Chocolate Covered Raspberry Smoothie Recipe

I'm always looking for ways to better myself - inside and out - and that includes making sure I eat a good breakfast. But, it can be hard because I'm not really a breakfast person, even though I try to be. One thing I do love to have for breakfast is a good smoothie. They're light, full of nutrients, and they give me the energy I need to get through my day. So this Chocolate Covered Raspberry Smoothie recipe, featuring DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut, is exactly the kind of thing my picky-self loves.

If you know me well, you know that chocolate covered fruit is basically my favorite treat to eat. So when I discovered these DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut packs, at Walmart in the special DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut display, I went all heart-eye-emoji on them. But the best part is, they taste even better than you'd hope they would; talk about a win-win. Some of the varieties I've tried are the DOVE® Dark Chocolate Raspberry & Honey Roasted Almonds, DOVE® Dark Chocolate Strawberry & Cocoa Almond, DOVE® Dark Chocolate Blueberry & Vanilla Cashew, and DOVE® Dark Chocolate Cranberries; and each one was amazing! I love that they come in the perfect snack-size packaging, so I can grab them and eat them, anywhere, anytime.

To make the Chocolate Covered Raspberry Smoothie, you will need:

1 cup Dark Chocolate Almond Milk
1 frozen Banana
2/3 cup Raspberries
2 tbsp Almond Butter
1 tbsp Raw Honey
1/4 cup DOVE® Dark Chocolate Raspberry & Honey Roasted Almonds

Directions:
In a blender, combine the almond milk, frozen banana, raspberries, almond butter, and raw honey. Blend until smooth. If the smoothie is still a bit runny, add a few ice cubes and another small spoonful of almond butter. Then blend until smooth, again. Poor into a glass, then stir in the DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut, and enjoy!

This was seriously the best breakfast I've had in a long time. It was so refreshing and delicious, I didn't want it to be gone. I even took the leftover DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut to work and let my coworkers taste test them, and everyone loved them as much as I did! I've even put a package in my backpack for this weekend's adventuring!

They're so delicious to eat just as they are - without the need to add other foods - sweet, a little bit salty, and completely satisfying. Be sure to give the DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut a try, you won't regret it!

Oh yum! I always try to have a good breakfast but some days are harder than others. This smoothie looks delicious! I grab DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut as a quick snack on their own, but adding to a recipe sounds like a great idea! #client
