Thoughts On Winter

I'm a little late in posting this outfit. While it would have been appropriate two weeks ago, the weather has since turned too cold (at least for me) to be outside without a coat on, or at least a warm sweater. I miss the warmth already and have some seriously mixed feelings about the upcoming winter season. My mind shifts between embracing the cold to get the most out of it and running away to Arizona (nearest option) or anywhere warm for a few months. I love the idea of snow and there's almost nothing more beautiful than a snowcapped mountain. But as I get older, the less tolerance I have for lower temperatures and venturing out of the house in the snow. I've already started a thermostat battle with my roommates who keep trying to turn it down while I keep turning it up so I don't loose my fingers to frostbite. So, if you know somewhere warm I could stay for a while, let me know. I'm happy to consider all of my options before letting my mind settle one way or the other.

Are you a fan of Winter? If not, how do you cope with the colder months?

I'm not a huge fan of winter either, except for the occasional snow days that we get in North Carolina. I'm really loving your hat! So perfect on you!

I know what you mean about the cold. I hate being cold too. Luckily it hasn't snowed here yet in Oregon why we have been here :-)

I love winter and it's probably because I live in San Diego, California and Winter isn't in our vocabulary. It's dropped below 70 degrees where this week and everyone is going crazy with excitement. Last night and Today it has bene 52 degrees, and while that is not cold to some people, it's freezing to us here in San Diego. I don't mine though because I Love it!

Girl you are rocking this outfit and that hat!! hahaha on man, I sooo remember the thermostat battles with roommates haha all too well. Sorry you have to deal with a cold house!! That is my least favorite part of winter- waking up and just wanting to stay in my warm bed!! I'm glad to see you're doing well, Gentri!!

I'm not a fan of the winter either. Sure, it's pretty to watch the snow fall...but it's much less pretty to go outfit or drive in it!

I find that I hate the winter more as I get older, too. It's no wonder people become snow birds when they get older!

I HATE the winter! I live in Philadelphia and it is so cold and dreary here and it's the worst! I'm already ready for springtime! I do love fall clothes though!!
