I've kind of become addicted to experimenting in the kitchen. I love thinking about creative ways to use items and make them into something even more interesting. Today I wanted to share my latest experiment. This was inspired by all of the Summer Fairs going on around the world, and nothing says Summer in America like deep-fried... well, anything. So I decided to deep fry some SNICKERS®
To start, you will need a frying pan, oil, and a candy thermometer. Get your oil heating up over the stove very slowly. If you heat it up too quickly then it will instantly melt your snickers bar rather than deep frying it. Keep the thermometer in the oil and when it reaches 350°, then it's ready for frying. Be sure to keep it at that temperature.
2 egg whites
In a bowl, mix your flour and cinnamon then set aside. In another bowl, whip up your egg whites until fluffy and add in the vanilla. Remove your SNICKERS®
promptly with the tongs or fork and place on a paper towel. Serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon and enjoy immediately!
