Making Decisions // Lemon Drop Boutique

Lately my life has been filled with decision making as I try and figure out where I will work and where I will live. The latter was somewhat handed to me, all I had to do was make sure I could afford it. I agreed to live there a few weeks ago, but over the weekend panic set in and I started to doubt my decision. Add in the stress of choosing the right job, one that I will be happy with day in and day out, and you've got one stressed girl, over here. But then, a friend of mine posted this quote on twitter, and I realized what needed to be done.

"Don't worry about making the right decision. Make a decision then make it right."

That hit home for me, it was exactly what I needed to hear. I had been praying for guidance and trying to make a decision so I could ask if it was right, but I was too afraid of making the wrong one. After reading that, I realized that I had all of these options before me, all of which were wonderful. I just needed to choose, do what I could to make it work, and be sure to keep my heart open to spiritual guidance.

Have you been in the midst of decision making lately, or is this a time of rest for you?

Oh man, this quote was exactly what I needed to hear today! I can somewhat relate to the panic you're experiencing as of late. I am closing on a home on Monday, and while it's what I want and I'm excited for it, there are certain levels of panic that set in related to budget, location, family, etc. Deep breaths, and making things right. :)

I Love this post. I hope you haven't felt pressured by me. But it's weird you posted this becusse this has been how I've felt for the past year in making decisions too!!! I remember talking to my dad and feeling like I didn't know if I was making a decision because I wanted to or because it was actually what I was supposed to do. And feeling a super strong confidence that... You know what!!! Sometimes there isn't just one right direction to go.... There can be several good options so just choose a path and do what you need to do to make it work. It may lead you on another oath you never new you would take it take. If you feel good about it or it's something you really want.... Give it a shot. Love you and I hope you can find some peace.
