I have always been someone who packs a lunch to work, I know I'll make better choices if I eat the food from home rather than eat out, so it's a no brainer for me. But for some reason, it's somewhat of a novelty here... Every time I bring food (which is every day I work) it causes a sensation... So you can only imagine the fuss people were making over my on-the-go parfait yesterday. I was so excited to dig into this delicious combination on my break, including the Quaker® Simply Granola cereal I found at Walmart, I only wish I had brought enough for everyone to have some.

This was the easiest meal to make; it only took a few ingredients and a couple minutes to throw together. I know I will be doing this more often, and not just for work; this is the perfect choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a mid-day snack! Here is how I made it:

You will need:
Mason Jar

Quaker® Simply Granola Cereal
Chia Seeds
Pomegranate Seeds
Greek Yogurt
*All available at Walmart

When placing the ingredients in your mason jar, be sure to place it in order of water content. So I placed my yogurt first, followed by my berries and pomegranate seeds, then the granola, and sprinkled a tablespoon of chia seeds on top. That way the granola and chia seeds don't get soggy from sitting in the yogurt all day. They were perfectly crunchy when my break-time arrived! The Quaker® Simply Granola Cereal is so delicious, I actually ate it for breakfast in regular cereal form too...

If you're not a granola person, Quaker offers other equally delicious options, as well- Quaker® Real Medleys®, Quaker® Oatmeal Squares, Quaker® Life.

I hope this helped to spark some ideas for the next time you're living life on-the-go; I'd love to know if you try this, I hope you love it as much as I do!

How would you eat the Quaker® Simply Granola?

P.S. While putting this post together all I could think of was "Granola, oats, and raisins, and peanuts" from Jimmy Fallon's Ew segment.

You just save my life, I alway eat parfait right way and never took it on the go, because it get to watery, but with this tip "to place it in order of water content" I bet this won't happen again, thanks #client

I never thought to add pomegranate seeds to a parfait! They are so good, and it doesn't hurt that that are pretty too :)
