Bling // Perle Market

Every once in a while there are those pieces that jump out to you, they seem fun, unique, and unlike anything else you have hanging in your closet; that is the case with this skirt from Perle Market. I am not a "blingy" kind of girl... quite the opposite, actually. But this pencil skirt spoke to me; in the midst of all the bling, the pattern still resembles that native style that I love and I suddenly found that I couldn't say "no". When the skirt arrived, I told myself to keep the outfit simple, pair it with a basic top to keep things as subtle as possible... But then I found myself pairing it with a polka dot shirt and well, I really liked it! This outfit is unlike my day-to-day style, but it is fun and unique, and those are things that I quite like.

ooo i very much like the pattern mixing! isnt it funny how sometimes you have an idea on how to style a piece and it goes coooompletely the other direction. glad you tried it out though, this caught my eye right away :)
