Easter Weekend

So Easter, lets talk about that again for a minute...

Easter weekend was filled with family time, egg hunts, baby farm animals, delicious food, and of course- church going. I love being around my nieces and nephews during the holidays, they always make them more fun.

We went to a local farm with the kids and their friends. It was so fun to watch all of the animals, but especially the baby goats playing, it's been a while since I've been around any. If you've read my blog for a while then you'll know that I love goats. (see for yourself here, here, here, here, here, and here)

This little guy is learning to walk, he's so close, he just needs to let go... (of whatever is keeping his balance)

Our church had a gathering that included potato sack and egg races, lunch, and of course- Easter egg hunts; the good stuff!

On Sunday we had a great time at church then invited some of our neighbors over for a nice Easter Dinner.

Of course, everyone looked their Easter best (you can see what I wore HERE)!

How did you spend your Easter weekend?

When I turned 22 I was getting ready to graduate from college.. I would have told myself to cherish the last few weeks with my roomates & enjoy the college life to it fullest because in a few short weeks... the real world is going to come and its not nearly as fun! Then, I would tell the 22 year old, young professional to work a little harder, be a little more dedicated, and have a little more fun =]

when i turned 22 i had been out of college for 6 months...i would tell myself to soak up the moments of freedom i still had. there were very few expectations and i had yet to be burned by some situations, it was a good moment in time! :)

Enjoy every minute of this experience. College will go fast, and you have a ton to look forward to, so just relax, and be.

If I could give my 22 year old self advice it would be, to let go of people your life who aren't life giving or supportive.

Seems like a great easter weekend! Beautiful photos! I'm turning 21 May 7th, so no advice for my 22 year old self yet, lol!

Love,

I wish I could go back and tell me 22 year old self (preferably it would be 21 because I got pregnant around 21)anyway If it was after I got pregnant, I would tell myself to just make it work with her father and don't let the little things bother me so much. Down the road the wouldn't mean so much. And no matter how 'painful' life gets, doing drugs and drinking to 'numb' myself actually just made everything worse.
I just turned thirty a week ago. And I really wish I could go back but I can't. So i just need to make the best of what happened and what hand i've been dealt.

I had my daughter at 23 so I would say enjoy yourself, have fun, be crazy and have no regrets!

Geez, can I go back and tell my 18 year old self more so I wouldn't be where I was at 22? haha.

I would tell my 22 year old self to stop worrying, don't care about what other people think, and put more effort into your friendships that you want to hold onto.

If I could give my 22 year old self one piece of advice, it would be to make better decisions with my education and career choices because eventually chances and choices dry up.

You are beautiful. Don't worry about your weight.

I would tell my young self not to worry so much about what other people think!

I would tell my 22 year old self that there is so much I could get done with my time, I thought I was so busy, but not much of it was very important.

Fun fact: A goat once ripped a chunk of my hair out and ate it all up. Here's the proof: http://www.onetonothin.com/2013/06/that-time-goat-ate-my-hair.html haha, I take it your goat experiences have been less traumatizing.

I am not quite 22 yet, but if I could back and tell my 18 year old self something. I would go with,

"Try making yourself happy instead of trying to make him be with you again."
I wasted too much time on one person that didn't want much to do with me!

Ps. I absolutely love all your photos.

I would tell myself not to run up credit card debt on stupid stuff.
