Facial Care Routine With Scott Paper Towels

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Scott Brand, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #Scottvalue http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
As an Aesthetician I am always trying to think of ways to better my skin-care routine. I often have people ask me what they can do to improve their skin health and ask what it is I do in my day to day care. So I decided to walk you through my daily routine using Scott Towels that I purchased at Kmart.

First- it is important to clear your skin of impurities. I know, I know, how many times have we heard not to do this? Coming from a professional- it is important to rid your skin of the buildup that causes acne, as long as you do it correctly. Using a Scott Paper Towel- wrap it around your fingers and gently use the pads of your finger tips to squeeze out any white heads. Only do this on acne that has come to a head as they are the only ones ready to be extracted and stop before you see blood. The Scott Paper Towel will catch the puss as it extracts- preventing it from spreading onto the rest of your skin as well as keeping you from using your fingernails and potentially scarring your skin. If you have multiple impurities to extract- just change where your fingers are in the paper towel to use a clean area each time.

Then mix your face wash of choice with a bit of water (or a splash of water on your face) and massage into your skin. Don't just rub it all over- actually massage it around. Not only does it feel great but the massage will give you a deeper clean, help relax your skin, increase blood flow, and you can even pause on pressure points for added stress and sinus relief. Then rinse.

Next, pat your face dry- do not rub. Now, I normally use a regular towel for eco purposes, however- I also like to use Scott Paper Towels and here's why. Unless you are changing which towel you use every time, your fabric towel will harbor bacteria which defeats the purpose of cleaning your face in the first place. Using disposable Scott Paper Towels keeps your skin clean, fresh, and bacteria free. While you can't send paper towels to regular recycling plants, there are many other ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle Scott Paper Towels.

Finish your routine by applying serums, toner, eye and wrinkle creams, moisturizer, and finally sunscreen.

I hope I was able to answer some of your skin-care questions. If you have more, feel free to ask! You can purchase Scott Paper Towels at Kmart. Check out Kmart's Shop You Way Rewards for great coupon offers on Scott Tissue products this week!

I've never thought to use a paper towel, but that's actually a really great idea. I've been having unusual breakouts lately, and I wonder if it's because I reuse a towel.

PS...you have the most incredible eyes!

Oh, this is great! I like the idea of using paper towels versus a regular towel , the bacteria thing makes sense!

jeeezzzoooobusss Gentri you're gorgeous with out make up! Your advice actually really helped though! I actually love the idea of using a paper towel to extract the white heads n such.. Also I have a baaad habit of rubbing my skin instead of patting it dry. I will defiantly make patting my face dry a new habit!

These are such great tips! i never thought about using a paper towel! That might be better than re-using the same fabric towel over and over again.
