Slowing Down

a beautiful package from miss stevi marie

In the midst of a busy and stressful life, it is important to remember to slow down and savor the little things. Here are some more of my favorite little moments...
a forgotten pair of boots out for an adventure

beautiful thrifted mirror, also found it's sister and their cousin

claw ring that didn't make it into this post

Okay, that fox pattern is the cutest thing, and I'm enamored by that equisite flower crown. What pretty pastel colors! I agree that it's the little things in life that keep us grounded.

Anyways, I adored your edgy look in the last post, and I absolutely loved that photoshoot with your friend. The balloons were so fun, and I loved how well your statement necklace stood out against that sleek black dress.

As for your online dating post, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have the best experience, but I'm glad you know it's not for you now. We were actually having a discussion about love related to a short story we read in English class, and in my presentation, I brought up on the of the points you mentioned--that often times we filter out our flaws, hiding our true selves, in attempt to project the best image in relationships. So thank you for writing such deep thoughts!

Have a wonderful week, Gentri!

Pretty!! I love the idea of sharing little moments, especially because I take so many pictures that never really leave my computer...

Girl, those boots! Also, your watch. I have a similar one, and I wear it almost every day. Because looking at your wrist is faster than digging in your bag for your phone. Kickin' it old style.
