Answer Year

"There are years that ask questions and there are years that answer them." -Zora Neale Hurston
Last year was definitely a "question year"; and I feel it was that way for many of you, if not the majority of you. I had no problem saying good-bye to 2013 and was more than ready to move on. This year is already off to an interesting start; I have a feeling that it will be an "answer year", at least I'm hoping so! If the last year has taught me anything- it's to move forward with a positive attitude, no matter what happens. So even if this year must ask more questions- I will do my best to face them with positivity and grace.

This is the last set of the photos from my session with Jenisse Photography + Design. It was such a fun morning shooting with her. It was freezing, but she made it so fun and was able to really capture what I was wanting. Jenisse has recently moved to Southern Utah but is willing to travel to surrounding areas. If you are in need of an amazing photographer- be sure to check her site out! You can also see my other posts from our photo session- here and here.

Your words are inspiring! Facing whatever comes with grace...that is what I need to remember. Thanks for that! Also, you look beautiful!

You are so right! This is what I hear all around - nearly everyone seems to be happy to let go of 2013, myself included. It was such a stressful year and left me with SO many questions. Here's to your positive attitude - I'll keep my fingers crossed for the two of us that everything will work out for us just how we like it. :)

Have a great rest of the week. xo.

I read a book by Zora Neale Huston in high school. I'm ready to leave last year behind me too. I'm excited for everything that comes with this New Year. It feels like a fresh start.

Beautiful photos! Did you know it's Zora Neale Hurston's birthday? (Google told me). I hope you have a wonderful year!

I am so jealous of your scenery, your pictures are always soooo gorgeous!

These pictures turned out beautifully; the scenery looks so lush and dark, and you are such a trooper for standing around in the snow! You usually take your own pictures, right? What camera do you use personally?

I like the sound of this. What I thought was an answer year left me with way too many questions... hoping to find them this year, and hoping the same for you! <3

Glad we could go through our question year together…and hopefully embark on our answer years together also! Love that we both blogged about this! xoxo
