Farmers Market

I unexpectedly had Friday off; usually this would be great news, but I had been feeling extremely antsy lately and a day to sit around wasn't exactly what I needed. Thankfully my good friend Rachel and I decided to take a trip up to a Farmers Market in Salt Lake City. We enjoyed the sunshine, talking to all of the vendors, being introduced to new foods and even testing some. After we had seen everything, we went back around to gather what we wanted to purchase. We then sat on the grass, looked through our free "Edible Wasatch" magazines, shared deep thoughts on life, and listened to the live band play.
I ended up buying a new bottle of local honey (I was all out), fresh peaches, some homemade "super" tea, and a bundle of fresh lavendar- which is now hanging in my room (loving the smell). It was such a fun evening and just what I needed to calm my antsy-self. My friend and I have decided to try and hit each of the farmers markets this Summer, or at least all that we can. I think it's a great goal.

Looks like you guys had a really great time! I absolutely adore farmers markets. I'm so sad we don't have one very close to us on the mountain, but thankfully there are some we get to go to when we are in AZ.

I need to seek one of these places out in my area. Even if I don't buy anything it's always really fun to look.

Love the pictures. You are so cute.
