The Story of a Haunted Photo + A Giveaway

Don't worry, I'm not giving away a haunted photo...

For my RAW display I wanted to use antique picture frames. They always seem to be prettier plus I can usually get them for cheap. So when I found this one (above) I was so excited! It was perfect! Plus, the glass is bubbled, which I loooove.

I brought it home and went to take out the original picture to find that it was stuck on to the glass. It's an old frame and photo, so I'm not sure what they used, but it looked modge podged on. I debated on using the glass or not, I didn't want to ruin the photo or find that I couldn't get it off only to have ruined the glass as well... but then at the same time, that little girl kinda creeped me out. I didn't even let the frame sleep in my room.

But my sister insisted that I try to take it off... even if I might anger that little girl... So my sister washed it and the photo came right off... or so we thought. I was giving it an extra scrub with some windex when I noticed some of the streaks weren't coming off. I held it up to the light and there she was... the little girl... still in the glass...

My eyes almost popped out of my head, I'm sure. I ran upstairs to show my family and they all laughed and said things like "of course that would happen!" and "it is haunted!". I posted that photo on instagram and was advised by many to throw it out.

Well I really wanted to use it for my display, so I placed my photo inside and just burried the frame at the bottom of the box I was taking with me the next day to the show. But now that the show is over... what do I do? Keep the frame and chuck the glass? I don't like saying whether I believe in haunted things or not (you know, I don't want to provoke anything... or anyone...) but it does kinda creep me out! At the same time, it is beautiful.

What do you think? Is it haunted? Do I keep it for a good story or throw it out? Can I find glass like that somewhere else?

i'd say keep it, but get rid of the glass.
the frame is gorgeous.
and if the glass is gone and you still feel creeped out then get rid of it then.

Ah man, I don't want to be a party pooper, because more than anything, I would love for you to have a haunted piece of glass! (A friendly one) I think you'll find that that photo emulsion has bonded with the glass, because it's an old photo, it's probably a silver gelatin emulsion rather than a laser print or whatever fangled thing they do now ;P

There's a few ways to clean it off, but I read on google that there's something called emulsion remover/cleaner, maybe try that? Don't throw away the glass, regardless, it's not haunted! Maybe you could make a cool double exposure effect if you can't get the girl off?
