Splurge vs. Save

I shared this post on The Beauty Snoop a couple weeks ago, check out her blog, you won't regret it!
Being a Makeup Artist and Master Aesthetician- I often get questions on products I recommend. If you're like me, you can't always afford the nicest of products. So here are some of my favorite Splurge/ Save comparison products! Beauty on a budget is possible!

Let me know if you try any of the products!

Ruby Woo is my go-to lip colour as well! Every time I wear it, people ask what the colour is, and if it's a special long-lasting lipstick because it lasts so long. Plus the matte finish looks great. It needs a bit of lip balm applied beneath it though as it doesn't glide quite as smoothly as a satin finish lipstick.

Eek! I am so excited for this post! I'm kind of behind on my makeup stash bc I have been monotonous and using the same products for years! So excited to try something different!

This is so helpful!!!! Question? Does the olay primer work well with oily skin? I have very oily acne prone skin so I love a good primer that is going to help my makeup stay put as best as possible!!!!

I've tried that Revlon eye liner and didn't like it nearly as well as The Body Shop's* liquid eye liner.

* Not Bath & Body Works! =e

I have Mac's Ruby Woo and I actually prefer Revlon's classic red! It's matte and stays on for the long haul!

Have you tried Drew Barrymore's new line "Flower"? They have THE best eyeliner. I used to use that one from revlon but the Flower one has a way softer, thinner tip, and it's around the same price. I'm obsessed!

I have to say my favorite red lipstick is "runaway red" from Too Faced, not a "save product" but it worth the price!

Mac Cosmetics are always tempting me with their darn beautiful lipsticks! I found that Maybelline's lipsticks are suuuper cheap but the quality is amazing. And I hit my Walgreens for that stuff.. :) It's usually around $5-$7.

I live for that revlon eyeliner...which reminds me that I need a new one! And that cover girl lipstick is my new favorite. It literally doesn't come off for like a day and a half!
