German Pancakes with Honey Baklava Syrup

For the LDS church, this is an exciting weekend. Two times per year we get to hear from the leaders of our church. We gather in the LDS conference center, stake centers, and homes around the globe to hear the words of God spoken through our leaders. I am so grateful for these weekends, they really give us a boost for the rest of the year.

As a tradition, my family always has German Pancakes for breakfast. I shared this recipe last Spring and thought I would share it again for those of you who missed it. Because trust me, you won't want to miss this!!

German Pancakes and Honey Baklava Syrup
German Pancakes- Family Recipe:
6 Eggs
1 cup Milk
1 cup Flour
pinch of Salt
2/3 cup Butter

Preheat Oven to 425

Melt Butter in 9x13 pan while the oven preheats. Mix other ingredients together. When oven has preheated poor the batter into the pan. Bake for 20 minutes.

Honey Baklava Syrup via Cheeky Kitchen:
1/2 cup Honey
1/2 cup Cream
1 Fresh Squeezed Orange
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla

Mix all ingredients in sauce pan over medium heat until ingredients are well blended and syrup is very hot.
Spoon syrup over pancakes (no butter needed since you cooked it in butter) and ENJOY! :D
