A couple months ago my friend Sierra came over to let me do her makeup. She wasn't able to make it until after it was dark, so I knew photos were going to be tricky. We ended up getting a few that turned out pretty well, but we decided to do another shoot anyways. Those photos (coming soon) are some of my very favorite that I've done. Can't wait to share them.
Sierra is one of those girls that is kind of afraid of lipstick. So I decided to do the dramatic dark lip on her and I loved it! So did she, actually! I love breaking people out of their lipstick fears.
I don't have a fancy reflector, so to get these pictures I made my sister hold a sheet of tin foil. Totally worked and I didn't spend a dime.

Her makeup looks awesome and I think these photos turned out SO well for being at night! Maybe even better! They look great. It can be so hard to take makeup photos. I am a new makeup artist so I've been going a little picture crazy and scouting all my friends/family (+ my husband to practice eyebrows! ha!) so I can build a bigger portfolio!
