Gentri Lee: Goals

Goals

Photobucket
1. Snowshoe to my cabin- I was supposed to do this last year but it never happened. I am determined.
2. Visit my sister in Georgia- She's having a baby in May, I need to be there!
3. Take a train with my younger sister to California to see the Redwoods- I've always wanted to take a train, like the one on White Christmas, and I've always wanted to see the Redwoods!
4. Run 1 mile per weekday- I am terrible at consistency. 1 mile I can do, right?! Lets hope so.
5. Read rather than watch TV- I watch way too much television, but I love to read.
6. Reserve sweets for the weekend- I also eat way too many sweets.
7. Gain 10 clients- Things are terribly slow for me, I need to build a clientele. I would be happy with just 10!
8. Improve my blogging- There's so much room for improvement.
9. Think of others first- Something I've struggled with.
10. Visit Europe- I know it's a long shot, but I REALLY want to.

While not all of these are realistic, if I could just accomplish one of the, I would be much better off.

What are some of your 2013 goals?

3. Depending on where you go in California to see the Redwoods, you may end up near me and if that's the case, we SO have to meet up!

5. I really need to make more time to read too. I've been working on ousting some Tv shows, but so far it's failing...

7. I totally want to be your client! Darn this being in separate states!

8. You may say there's room for improvement in blogging, and that's true, but I think your blog is just dandy as is : ]

10. Maybe visiting Europe can be a "before 30" goal. Getting to go at all would be amazing. I'm sure you'll get there eventually.

Great goals Gentri! (An alliteration right there that was haha) I wish you lots of luck in achieving them, and Happy New Year!

I love your resolutions! I've always wanted to take a train ride. I might get to take one from Las Vegas over to LA during spring break, I'm pretty excited about it! I really hope you get to take that train ride and I also really hope you get to go to Europe! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to begin with ! I also watch too much TV but I loooooove it... If you manage to run 1 mile per weekday, I'll be very impressed, seems enormous to me ! (I hate running !)
My goals for 2013 : get my masters degree, move to a city nearer to my family, find a job I like, learn the guitar for real and read WHATEVER I want (with school, I don't allow myself to read something I like or I'll never read stuff for school !) and go to London !

I hope you'll achieve all you want to and I wish you the best for this new year !

Best of luck with your goals!! It's the same with my goals - into some I have to put a lot of energy, time and even money, but most of the are achievable. We can do it, I know it. :)

I watch WAY too much tv too! So bad. But I don't think I'm going to change it haha. I love my crappy reality tv way too much.

You definitely have to get there for the baby!

I'm trying to picture this with a pixie. Hmmm. Maybe. Maybe not. I do own a whole lot of scarves now though. My neck gets cold! :)

I should also mention the fact that you are drop dead gorgeous.

Oh my goodness when I read that you wanted to read rather than watch tv, I had a total blonde moment (even though I'm brunette) and pondered how you were going to read your tv... on mute with subtitles? Ya... I think I need to start reading more too lol

I'm going to apply #4 and #5 on my list too.
