Where Have They Been? Pt. 1

You may have noticed that I didn't have a BOW this week. Well, that's because this week I am celebrating (two months over due) 1 Year of BOW! So exciting and it went by so quickly! Here's a little update from some of my past BOW's.
(more to come)

Hi friends! Lena here from Mus·ing(s) to update you on life since blogger of the week [woo!]. My husband and I are officially college graduates, so homework and coffee addictions have basically been eliminated from our household. In March we went on the road trip of a lifetime with our best friends and I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time. I'm still a rainbow sprinkle enthusiast. And funky socks lover. My little blog continues to be where I celebrate what makes this life so beautiful. And [if you haven't already] I invite you to come join in the celebration!

Hello all you lovely Gentri Lee followers! It was such a pleasure being blog of the week on this lovely gal's blog. And to be included in the yearly round-up with all these amazing bloggers?! Double awesome.
Well I've been a busy, busy bee since I was last featured. I started my very own clothing line called Midnight and Dawn. My twin sister and I spent months designing and sewing up dresses for our online shop. It's been a dream of ours for a long time, and it's been such an amazing, surreal experience seeing it come to life. Literally a dream come true! Right now we're working on new pieces for our Summer 2012 collection. I'll be posting all updates through my blog, Two Happy Hearts. So feel free to follow along if you'd like!
Thank you so much to Gentri and all you amazing readers. It's such an honor to be part of this blogging community. It's brought so much creativity and joy to my life! Thanks again, friends.

Wow a whole year! Congrats Gentri! I still remember when I was first featured on this blog, it helped me meet so many new blogger friends! So much has happened this past year. I went to Washington DC to work (with some vacation time on the side hehe), and I went to Las Vegas for my 21st birthday! I was absent from the blogging world last fall due to a hectic school schedule, but life slowed down for the better during the spring which allowed me to come back and I intend to stay! I'm excited for what my lil' blog has in store for the future! :)

Feathers & Freckles is almost one year old, and I'm not ashamed to say that I now have more friends on the internet than off. I have continued to experiment with my small closet and budget, and share (mostly awkward) stories about my life, thrifting, and taking self-portraits in public. I started a Fashion Flashback series, in which I take childhood photos and mimic my former style, and began sharing my DIY projects because I love to craft.

BONJOUR! This is Janette of Janette the Jongleur and here's my update of what's happened since being Ms. Gentri's BOW*:
-I fell while rollerblading and scraped my knee-meat, which then got infected. (Boo!)
-My car broke down and died.
-My uncle passed away :-(
-Hours at work got cut in half.
-Just found out my sister is moving to the other side of the world.
-I didn't win the $640,000,000 lotto.
Yeah... There's more where that came from! Duuude! It's been a rough one, but through it all, I've come to appreciate God in a deeper way. I'm also learning to cherish and really savor the times that are sweet. It's been crazy, guys! But I feel really blessed despite it all.
*Disclaimer:  I am not claiming that being Gentri's BOW has in any way, shape, or form been the root cause of recent trials ;-)

Wow, I cannot believe it's already been a year since I was Gentri's BOW! How quickly the last year has flown. A lot has changed since then, too... The biggest change being that I am now a Mrs.! The husband and I were married on October 15, 2011 at Belle Meade Plantation here in Nashville, TN. It was an incredible and beautiful day filled with love, family, and friends. And the days since have been wonderful, too. Our puppy is still spoiled and the idea of getting a second dog occasionally gets thrown around... Until we reminisce about the holes Paisley chewed in the wall and baseboards in our house when we attempted to leave her out of her crate the first time! The husband I have a summer full of trips planed, mostly for weddings as well as trip to the beach in a few weeks. We are also in the midst of planning our 1 year anniversary trip. My blog is now focused on daily ramblings, married life, and occasional entertaining. Thanks again, Gentri, for featuring me!

Hello there friends and happy one year to BOW! It hasn't been long since I was BOW here at Gentri Lee, but as life tends to do, quite a bit has taken place! I'm still Michelle, I still love my dog and bike, and of course I still adore adventure. I do have new glasses, have officially been to an H&M, and almost met Bleubird's husband while eating beignets. Stop it. I literally almost died when that last one happened. One would think that finally shopping at an H&M would do it, but nope, almost meeting my blog crushes' husband caused me to turn into a complete and silly idiot. The. life. of. a. blogger. I'm seriously sure you can relate. One thing that most certainly hasn't changed: I'd still love for you to stop by OTA, friend, I sure would!

Hey ya’ll it’s Little Mrs Me! Wow I can’t believe it’s been a year! Time has just flown by and so much has changed since Gentri Lee asked me to be a BOW last year! My Mr. graduated from BYU-I, we moved to Virginia, got jobs, went on a cruise to the Western Caribbean, my sister got prego, my sister-inlaw got prego, I got a job promotion, learned to make pasta from scratch, took up Zumba, we moved further north in Virginia, went to NYC, and I got to experience my first full Spring, earthquake and tornado! Are you exhausted yet? We really have had such a busy year, but I feel so blessed by everything we have gotten to do, ok maybe not the earthquake and tornado bit....
Being able to move into our own little condo has been so great, and liberating, we live less than 5 minutes from the Potomac River and it is so beautiful here. Being close to family is a major perk also! By the end of 2012 I will be the proud aunt of 16 nieces and nephews! Good thing I got a promotion to pay for all those birthdays!
In short life is exactly how it should be, great with a side of awesome. I am really looking forward to this summer of relaxing by the pool, spending quality time with friends and family, and of course blogging my little heart out! Hope the last year has been as good to ya’ll as it has to me! xoxo
The Mrs.

Since Blogger of the Week..things are pretty much the same for me (aside from a new blog design business)! I'm still blogging about fashion, DIY and living a creative life--all while encouraging others to do the same! Thanks to BOW I've met a ton of new people and am eternally grateful to Gentri for having me : )

my name is kaitlyn and i blog at isavirtue. i knew i liked gentri the moment i met her a year ago - we bonded over our distaste for airplanes! the past year of my life has been an exciting one with a lot of ups and downs career wise. i was offered the role of manager of a local art gallery and the position brought a lot of wonderful experiences into my life. i'm now at a point where i am choosing which direction to take my career in and it's equally exciting and nerve-wracking! this was also my first year as a newlywed and wife. i truly believe that my husband and i have grown closer together in this time and i am thankful for his presence and support. blogging is also a big part of my life and i'm looking forward to the year ahead - hopefully you'll all think of isavirtue when you want to see some snail mail and art!
