Saturday Style Peek- Western

This was my outfit for "Cowboys and Indians" day at school last week. I really just pulled Western elements rather than going FULL Western. I still felt dressed up for school but I also felt like I would wear this outfit on any given day.

In other news:
My home town became part of the many wildfires that are happening right now. I was so nervous and hated knowing my mountains were burning- even though I couldn't have done anything. Luckily- Thursday afternoon brought rain that put the fire out, along with the great efforts of the firefighters. The best part is that after the rain and smoke cleared, a rainbow formed over the same spot the fire had started.
(photo stolen from my friend's FB)

What a miraculous moment!

Oooo! Absolutely adorable outfit! Love the self-portrait! I've always wondered - how do you make circular photos? Do you use an app?

I'm so glad the fires got put out in time. Rain after a fire is such an amazing thing to think about, isn't it? Kind of spiritual in some ways.

I'm glad the fires were stopped in time! Rain after a fire is the neatest thing, isn't it? Really kind of spiritual in some ways.

Yes, the rain that we had on Thursday was definitely needed! We have been so grateful for that & for all of the hard work from our fire fighters.
