About a year and a half ago, I decided I wanted a goat. (one day I will have one, and her name will be lucky, and she shall wear a blue ribbon around her neck.) So when my school bff told me that her goat- Brownie was pregnant, I was so excited! We waited with much anticipation for the babies to arrive. Poor Brownie is just a little dwarf goat, and with two babies growing inside of her, she could hardly walk.
On Sunday, a week after her due date, I received an excited phone call from my friend announcing that the babies had arrived. So with the babies just a few days old, she took me to meet them.

This one is Clyde. She was so calm and didn't seem to mind our visit at all.
This one's Bonnie. She was a little more hesitant and cried whenever I tried to pick her up.
This is where their little horns will grow in.
I love how long and lanky their legs are in comparison to their little bodies.
Brownie is such a good and sweet mother. She didn't mind me holding them but took care of Bonnie when she got a little nervous.
I was trying to calm Bonnie down, but she wasn't having it. Poor Clyde just sat their through all of her sister's whining and crying. Actually, the little sound they make is one of the cutest things I've ever heard!
I can't wait to one day have a goat of my own! I used to see my neighbor taking his goat on walks and always thought it was so funny. Now, I can't wait to do the same. Lucky and I.

Those baby goats are the cutest things I have ever seen. My husband has been talking about getting a goat for awhile now. He already makes his own cheese; hence the reason for wanting a goat. I want a goat so that Sherman has a friend. How cute would that be??

I actually used to be petrified of goats until fairly recently (of all the things to be scared of...I know). And I have got to say, he is a total cutie! I love their little floppy ears!
