So yesterday we headed to town square and walked over to the old ice cream shoppe (i have to call it "shoppe" because it's old... right?). It was so cute and every detail was perfect. As was my Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream!
Lots of old fashioned candy!
Even the ceiling was beautiful!
Yes, that would be my major hitchhiker thumb.
After making a mess of myself with that ice cream, we walked across the street to ride the carousel in the park.
I had to take the ticket master's photo. I loved his red striped vest.
We had our pick of horses, because we were the only ones there! So we picked two we liked, and away we went. I loved the old bandstand music that played. It really made the whole scene perfect.
There may have even been a little trick riding.
Where's Waldo moment: can you spot me?
We then drove down the street and did a little thrift shopping. Sarah is
I love finally feeling like I have friends here, it really makes this whole experience a lot better. haha! Hope you had a lovely weekend!

Everything about this blog post is fantastic! I love the pictures. I love the places you went. I loved looking at everything as if I had been there too. I love the carousel (and the fact that you know it's not a merry-go-round ; ] ) Just awesome! The only thing I would change is, I have to say, you eating your ice cream cone while on the carousel would have been perfect. Cliche maybe, but perfect : ]
