Most of my weekend was spent watching General Conference. Which was incredible. I always hate when conference ends. It's that same feeling you get when you finish a great book or the day after Christmas. You loved it and you wish you could rewind and do it all over again. (luckily I can actually rewatch it. But that's beside the point.)
Here's what I did when I wasn't watching conference...
1. I ate dinner outside the other day. It was such a beautiful day. And even though I sat on the ground in my tiny back patio, it was nice to have some fresh air and feel the cool breeze.
2. My sister sent me that journal and I love it. I'm using it only for my best reflections. The ones I actually want to remember. Not the ones I'll be embarrassed about later.
3. I was able to meet Ashley, Bella, and their friends the other day! AH! They are even better in person!
4. There was a GIANT box of strawberries that my roommate and I split the cost of. (I thought it was a great deal, but just in case it wasn't, I won't tell you what it cost.) We have great plans for those strawberries.
5. I miss living with a great view. This would be a good one.
6. And THIS is how I spent the majority of my weekend... on the couch. Yup. I'm lazy. Really, you can just ignore this last picture...

sounds like fun!
I had never heard of general conference until I started reading blogs.
We had some strawberries not that long ago and they were amazing--nothing says summer like fresh strawberries.
Looks like a good weekend to me! :)
I love the sunny weather :)
That sounds like the perfect day. I love that journal. Did your sister make it?
yayyyyyyyyyyy! I need to email you the pictures i took but honestly, it might be a few more days. I am literally spending morning to NIGHT working on a place to live, furniture rental, where we can BUY more furniture we need, etc, etc, etc. It is exhausting. I haven't even had time to read emails or go onto my blog. eek.
loved loved loved meeting you again! You are awesome, and I can't wait to tell everyone about it!
xo,

Strawberries are ALWAYS a great deal. :)
Couch living is the best kind of living. Add a bag of miniature Hershey's chocolates and its considered a party!
Weekends on the couch are my favorite! Sometimes, they are so needed.
I remember when I was in esto. school how exhausting it was. I went to an Aveda Institute and had three 10 hour days a week: thurs, fri, sat. Since then, I CHERISH my saturdays!

Wasnt GC awesome? I love those kind of weekends! That journal is adorable, do you know where she got it? And pretty excited to see what you can do with a huge box of strawberries!
What a good weekend! :] Any weekend where you get to hear the prophets and apostles speak is bound to be good though! And I want to know how much the strawberries cost! Haha. But I know the feeling of telling someone about your good deal and having them tell you it's not! Haha. It's a bit of a let down! I buy strawberries and raspberries no matter the price these days! :]
mmmm, those strawberries look scrumptious.
YAY!!! I'm glad you were able to skip for general conference! I couldn't get work off for it, but sunday was amazing :)
Girl, no shame, couch weekends are some of the best weekends. Snacks, tea, a good movie/show-- you're set for life... or the weekend. I just got some strawberries too! They are scrumptious. I feel like they fit this spring weather perfectly! So glad that you got a day off to relax girly!
I love these kinds of posts of yours : ]
And hey, at least your "skipping" was used wisely. When I used to ditch it would be to catch up on homework or watch Tv. No bueno!
I just love conference weekend. Not only is it wonderful to hear all the talks, but I think it's refreshing to be able to stay home and not worry about church responsibilities. Thanks for sharing!

The Mrs. and The Momma
yay instagram! glad you had a happy weekend x
Beautiful pictures <3
Sounds like a lovely weekend!
My Mom was telling me to watch general conference through lds.org, but I never got the chance, she said it was a good one. See, I grew up Mormon, but am no longer a practicing Mormon for about 15 years now (just the path I decided to choose, and AHHH I'm old). But I have no ill feelings about the church and still go from time to time with my Mom if she bugs me hard enough when I'm in town lol ;) Your post made me a little nostalgic about my childhood Sundays and made me miss my Mom :) Thanks for sharing. Oh, and btw, I've come to realize there is an insane amount of Mormon bloggers!
