Opposition

Have you ever made a decision that you KNEW was right. You felt it in your heart, your mind was at peace. Then you go forward with that decision only to have everything that could go wrong- seem to do so?

As much as you think "maybe I was wrong" you know you weren't. As much as you want to give up, you know you can't.

Because there will always be opposition. There is always that someone out there wanting you to fail, wanting you to give up, wanting you to be sad, depressed, and angry.

But there is also ALWAYS that someone there who KNOWS you can succeed, PUSHES you to keep going, and WANTS nothing more than for you to be happy, faithful, and excited about life.

The best things in life come when we feel the most opposition keeping us away from them. Life will be sweet when we make it through those challenges.

So keep going! Even when it seems like all is lost. Because you absolutely can do this!

This was the perfect thing to read in the library while I have a little 10 minute break from studying - thanks for the pick-me-up!

well said! I think it is so freeing to finally decide what you know in your heart is the right thing to do and just push forward with it, despite those who tell you otherwise.

I know this feeling too well but luckily my number one supporter keeps me going and slowly things are changing, maybe--just got to keep overcoming the opposition and keep the faith.

This is so true! There will always be that person who wants to see you fail, but next to them will always be someone there who wants to see you happy. We just need to decided who to listen to! (:

I love that pic of you standing in front of those mountains with the suitcase! (:

Thank you so much for this Gentri! Sometimes trying to figure out life-after-graduation-with-a-baby-on-the-way seems so confusing and frustrating and impossible but I do know that it was the right time for us to have a baby and we will figure everything out!

Definitely some helpful words at this time, because I know that, right now, I'm not happy with my life. My job has taken over--and not by my control. I am doing the bare minimum I need to do, but still find that I only sleep, get up, and go to work. This is not a life, and I long to be happy. I don't think, in this situation, that I can push through and be happy, because I know that I will never have time. There is no time to be happy, no time for myself. However, I find or think of what will make me happy, THEN I will definitely push. Happiness is something always worth fighting for.
