Last year my main New Year Goal was to enjoy the little things. I'm proud to say that I've become REALLY good at this! The little moments are my favorite and I love blogging because it helps me notice them. By enjoying those small moments we will become more aware of what the Lord has provided for us, more aware of all the little blessings, and more aware of the "Tender Mercies" of the Lord.

This is Kate the Great Dane and Pippin the deer bonding after Pip's mom got scared off by neighboring dogs. The owners waited 3 days before they rescued her. They couldn't stand the crying anymore! Kate adopted her right away and they've been best friends ever since. They even sleep together. Pip was bottle fed but Kate tried to nurse her even though she has never had pups and is spayed. Pip now lives in the bush with the wild deer but visits every day.

It's so cute when animals adopt other animals as their own. :]
Also I had a friend who had a pet deer as a kid and it adopted another does baby. Not as impressive as the dog story but still pretty cool.
ANYtime my boyfriend talks about Reese Witherspoon he refers to her as withOUTherspoon. So that picture is hilarious.
