Gentri Lee: Ready Or Not...

Ready Or Not...

Here it comes!
2012 that is.
And like all of you, I've got some goals that need accomplishing.
Photobucket

My list includes goals that are personal and goals that are for fun. here are some of them...

1. Take a hot air balloon ride. I've wanted to do this for years. This better be the year!
2. Serve others more. I used to be so good at that. Then things happened and I just needed to think of myself for a while. But I'm sick of that and ready to get back out there.
3. Visit my sister and her family in St. Louis. What a fun city that must be!
4. Build a good amount of savings. Again- something I'm not very good at...
5. Run a race. I don't care how long it is, I just need to do it.
6. Take an adventure. At least one.
7. Take better care of myself. In every aspect. I tend to ignore things that need to be fixed.
8. Be more outgoing. I can be really good or really bad at that. It all depends on the situation. I'd like to be good at it in any situation.

I hate ending on #8. I'd like to at least make it an even 10. But the rest of my goals are more personal, things that only I will know. :) You understand.

So this weekend, as we ring in the new year, I will be excited to leave 2011 behind (even though it was a good year overall) and start fresh. What are your top 3 goals for 2012??

Have a Happy new year everyone!

LOVE that picture of you, Gentri! And I am so with you on the hot air balloon ride! Maybe we should do it together? :) Eric is afraid of heights so there's no way he'd do it with me.

What a fabulous picture! And what fabulous goals for yourself. I've recently blogged about how I had new year's resolutions, but I was thinking this morning that I do have two...
1. To be nicer to my boss & coworkers
2. To dress better for the office - and that really boils down to having a better idea of what to do with my hair {is that lame?}

I'll be 30 in April, so I'll have a whole list of things I want to accomplish in my 30th year - so I kind of consider that my 'new year's resolutions...'

Hot air balloon - totally fun! :)

agreed. that photo is rad lady! good goals you have :) I'm totally down the adventure one and the outgoing one. Hey! You could combine the two by meeting a stranger in a specified location (ie bookstore, bar, etc...) and BAM! - two goals accomplished in one action!

PS. I am an idiot and forgot to load the photos for my post today - go back and check them out...they were inspired by one of your crafty little posts!

I think you've got some awesome goals a brewing there, girl. I just recently did my resolutions list over at my blog.

Developing my saving abilities and serving others were two of my things!

I really like your number 8. I have always been a shy one but recently it is getting better so I'd like to develop that quality more as well.

Good luck on all of your 2012 goals, Gentri.

Happy New Year,
-Katie

What a fabulous list, friend! I as well plan on a hot air balloon ride while my husband is deployed this year, as he is PETRIFIED of heights! I have not begun my research, but it will happen!

I wish you the best of luck on your goals and can't wait to see how they get crossed on off!

Happy 2012 :)
