First- Do any of my Australian readers have a spare bedroom? Winter has decided it's his turn, and I just don't agree with that. So I might just pack up my bags and head south for the winter. Those birds have the right idea.
Here are some shots from my weekend so far:

1. I finished Matched! SO good! I'm going to go grab the newly released sequel today! Eep! (I must say it was a tad slow at first. Still good, just not what I was expecting. But the end is very good and very intense.)
2. Just some grapes with a curly stem. They were fun, and delicious!
3. Thought I could roller skate last night. HA! Fell right on my bottom within the first 30 seconds... Awesome.
4. Switched to a lame scooter after one turn around the... skate floor? What is it called? Rink? (notice my thick layers? It's that cold. Or I'm a baby.)
5. The pattern of my new skirt! AH! I didn't think it'd come so soon, so happy it did! Can't wait to wear it!

We have a guest office in Florida! It's still kind of sweater weather but theres still lots of sunshine and no snow!
i haven't been roller skating in forever! even though i'm terrible at it, it's still fun to do with friends! :))
Haha you crack me up. You usually do fall a couple times if you haven't skated in a long time. And yes, it's a rink. I worked at a roller skating rink for a couple years near the end of high school. It was a pretty fun job, I picked little kids up off the floor, handed out skates, and called kids' parents when I found them making out under tables or in corners.
Ha! I actually do have a spare room in sydney that is just calling your name :) In fact, one of my blog readers just came and stayed in it for a week. And the weather here is amazing! Going to bondi beach this morning for a swim... Hope your weekend is a lovely one. xx
I put that book on my "to read next" list. There are so many good ones out right now :)
don't worry. i can't roller skate worth a flip either. ;D yay for new, cool-looking skirts!

Ahhh I've been wanting to read matched....might I possibly borrow?!
I love that pattern!!!
I have never been to a skating rink that allowed scooters!!! That would be the only way MY butt would be getting out there! I'm a disaster on skates! :o)
Aw! You are seriously the cutest!!]I think you should just head south ... but like ... North Carolina south for the winter ;) Just kidding, where I live (in the mountains) you don't want to be here in the winter!
