Gentri Lee: Not So Very Scary- YOU Decide

Not So Very Scary- YOU Decide

It's finally starting to feel like Halloween time! I'm super excited! I've been contemplating what to be for Halloween. While I'm not a serious partier, I fully intend on making it to at least one party- costume and all. Last year my sister and I were hobos and it was AWESOME!
Photobucket

I really loved that costume. It's tempting to just be that again. But I'm attempting to broaden my horizons. So... What do YOU think I should be for Halloween?? :) Leave your suggestions in the comments. If I get enough decent suggestions then we'll have a poll later and as long as it's not too complicated- the winner is what I'll be for Halloween! I can't decide on my own anyways. :)

***

I've already watched my two favorite Halloween shows, and plan on watching them many more times before the spooky season's over. Ok, so I don't watch true Halloween movies, I like to stay on the "cute" side of Halloween... One of those movies would be Hocus Pocus! During the movie my sister and I were commenting back and forth on my status with our favorite quotes. Yes we're ridiculous, and we love it.
Photobucket

It went on a lot longer than that. But i's all I could fit before the image became to small and hard to read.

And for your viewing pleasure...

So leave your costume suggestions in the comments! And remember that I'm still taking questions for my Q&A post coming soon. :)

Seriously! Too too funny! My favorite Sarah Jessica Parker role by far! Why don't you dress up (or you and two other girls) as the witches from Hocus Pocus? A red head, blonde, and brunette? That could be fun...and you can go around singing I Put A Spell On You! :p

Dressing up for Halloween is sooo fun! You and your Sis are cute as hobos. Halloween movies rule too! There's a place around here called Saunders Farm that is basically a huge halloween fest! From crazy mazes, to haunted walks (with hired actors to jump out and scare you) to pumpkin patches and a bunch of other things it's a good time! Can't wait to go!

As for costumes. What about the opposite of last year? Frills and sparkles and wings?

Hocus Pocus! Loved that movie!! I used to have an inappropriate crush on the cat....

What about a pirate?? Like, a pirate wench, that's always fun. You get to wear awesome boots!

Oh my gosh! I LOOOOOVE Hocus Pocus! Its my ALL TIME FAVORITE halloween movie! Lets watch it together. Me and my cousins used to pretend we were the three witches and went as them for many halloween celebrations. :) I think you should go as cruella devil for halloween this year, she is always real fun to dress up as. I especially like the two different colors of hair. :)

hahah I LOVE hocus pocus. too much. Right now I'm on this Harry Potter craze so I'm just going to say be hermoine. All you need is a navy v-neck sweater [from f21] a red and gold tie [easy to find on ebay for cheap] a skirt and curly hair! easy! I'm being Luna Lovegood hah so I think I might make a robe cause it is also supes totes easy :)

p.s . you're right about the fishtail briad- smaller sections would make it more fishy taily :) thanks!

We are going to be the Leg Lamp, Fragile box, and the "Pink Nightmare" bunny from A Christmas Story hahaha. I'm putting us in a costume contest too. I'm SO excited!

The hobo outfit looked really awesome. You could do something hilarious like be Kim Kardashian or something. Put a pillow in your pants to make it look like you have her butt and then get the fattest fake ring you can find. Maybe wear a wedding dress since she just got married? Big fake eye lashes. Totally go all out lol. That might be a bit much though.

I saw the best Halloween costume last year! It was Barbie and Ken. She got a super blonde wig and they both kept their arms stiff the whole night! It was awesome!

Any of the witches from Hocus Pocus would be awesome too! :)

I, like everyone else, love that movie as well!

There are so many things you can be!!! You need to tell us if you want to be scary, funny, or girly!
Being Kim kardashian would be funny. Twilight movie is coming out soon, you could be one of the cullens for fun.
Scary, zombie bride
Girly, Velma from scooby doo!! Or something like a flapper!
Sorry I have too many ideas!

I love that movie! Also, Halloween, although technically we don't do halloween in Australia. I'm making it my business to change that though, this year I'm going as Pee-Wee Herman.

I LITERALLY just watched Hocus Pocus last night at my friends house! We had "hocus pocus" night and I couldn't help but quote during the whole movie! Love it.

I had such a crush on Max Dennison (sp?) .. I think most liked Zachary Binx. His little sister was so precious!

A couple of years ago my friends and I dressed up as Disney Princesses! You should to :) I was Mulan! haha

you guys were the cutest hobos I've EVER seen :)

I haven't seen Hocus Pocus in years!! :) And i love that you and your sister swapped all those stellar quotes!

and halloween costumes...I'm a sucker for dressing up. this year i had the idea to have my hubs and little boy be Mario and Luigi, then I'd be Princess Peach. But my baby belly looks a bit too silly in the pink dress I found at the DI ;) You'd totally rock Princess Peach! (Pink dress, gold and turquoise jewelry, while long gloves, and crown)

But if you're not the princess type, you could go the superhero route :) what is it about wearing a cape that is SO fun and brings you back to childhood? :)

Cute costume! You look like Mary Poppins after she's been hanging out with the chimney sweepers!

Hmmm...as for costume suggestions, if we celebrated Halloween, I'd go for something cute like Alice in Wonderland or 1920's flapper.

My mind is completely blank about costumes :) I'm having a party today, where we have to dress up as TV-characters. I'm going to be Buck, from "The United States of Tara" :D

ps. Your little prize is on its way now - the package isn't exactly pretty because of all the labels and tapes I had to put there, but I hope you like what's inside! ^^ and that it gets to you without any damage. ♥

I always have such a hard time coming up with what I should dress up like, so I don't really have a suggestion for you, haha, sorry :)

i LOVE the hobo costume idea. classic! i'm plum out of original suggestions. growing up, mama dressed me like a gypsy every year. she just put my hair in a side ponytail and i wore this cape with stars on it. it was attractive, let me tell ya:)

and yes for halloween movies! i love charlie brown's "it's the great pumpkin" :)

I ended up taking out my best friend for her birthday that night. She just moved to SL, so she doesn't know anyone, and needed a little celebration ya know? Sorry for being so lame!
