First up... Oh man I can't believe I am doing this... BUT I was asked by the lovely Monica and the beautiful Whitney to guest post on their blog- Ask The Duplex. So yes, This would be my FIRST outfit post ever. Oh boy. I feel sort of scared... Ok, really scared. haha! You may learn something about me you never knew before. So hop on over and take a look... BE KIND!
I am ALSO guest posting over at cute Lauren's blog today! Whoop Whoop!! Check it!
So, I know it is Wednesday, but I am just posting about this last weekend. Eh, it's ok. So here are a couple random images from the weekend to start you off:
1. Mobile Dog Grooming... Awesome...
2. An amazing sunset
3. Lunch
On Sunday I made a Fall Fruit Salad to go along with dinner. Apples, Pears, Pomegranate Seeds, and Grapes. Mixed them up, added some cinnamon. Yum! And as my sister announced "It tastes like fall!". Mission accomplished.
Most of the weekend was spent watching General Conference. It was amazing!
Ok, weekend update over.
Saw this on Ellen yesterday and it brought tears to my eyes. It's short, I suggest you watch.
Wow! Technology can do wonders!! No, MIRACLES!
Have a great day everyone!

That video made me smile! :) Thanks for sharing!
I saw that video online and it made me tear up to... and am I the only one who thinks her voice sounds normal even though she is deaf? I guess I have in my head what it sounds like when a deaf person speaks, like they never form their words correctly but with her, I would never know! that is amazing!
gentri you are so cute! yes wear those heels! do you ever watch what not to wear? i've become some what of an addict lately.. they give really great advice about how to work with your height and things like that. maybe they have some tips on their website! if i worked for them, they would :)
i totally know how you feel about wearing certain things and feeling like you're playing dress up. i'm 5'5 so i guess that's pretty average sized, but i'm 26 and people ALWAYS think i'm about 16. i was in a mall upstate not too long ago where you have to be 17 to walk around without an adult (weird???) and the mall security card CARDED me. he thought i was under 17! and my sister is 23 and people ALWAYS without fail assume she is my older sister. oy vey.
i'm gonna go check out the blogs where you're featured a leave a comment:) i'm sure you did awesomely;)
i would like to watch the video but my sis is doing school close by and i don't wanna distract\disturb her while she's studying :\

you are too cute! No way are you too short to wear high heels and maxi dresses look great on petite ladies as long as they are hemmed properly. Great job with the guest post.
I found that video on Tumblr the other day and I was sobbing. Seriously, so touching.

I was sooo glad to see the news article about the woman hearing her voice for the first time! SO touching!

Thank you for guest posting! It really came at the best possible time! :)
Oh I loved last weekend w/general conference!!! Woohoo! And I also made a fruit salad! RANDOM! And going to check out your guest posts! I think I'm doing one of those Reader Submission things too!
You look super cute in heels! I don't think it's always true, but I heard heels with an ankle strap make your legs appear shorter. However, those red heels are absolutely darling so who cares about rules! I wish I could wear heels, but then I would feel like a giant (I'm almost 5'8") and I would most likely be taller than my husband, which I feel is awkward.
ALSO, that salad sounds delicious. Amen.
it was a great first style post!! you should do more!
That video is amazing.
And that salad looks yum.
OK so I am sitting here at my computer with a glass of wine BAWLING my eyes out because of that video. That was amazing and beautiful and brought so many emotions! That you for sharing.
I am on my way to view your post... I'm sure it's just great! :)
What a beautiful video! ;)
Mobile dog grooming sounds like a mobile rabies clinic. I would so afraid to groom animals, but a lot of people feel that way about teaching.
I miss your blog. I've been so busy! I am looking forward to meeting you :)
Now that video has me crying!! AND I am dying to have a fall fruit salad of my own. Yum Yum.
You are SO cute! I love your outfits and the hair is so so lovely! Well done :)
You are a delightful guest to have!
Virginie ♥
