The house is in full Halloween swing! It's so exciting and makes it really FEEL like fall.

I've got some things on my Fall "to-do" list. I don't know if I am going to be able to accomplish all of it. But I must try! haha!
1. Carve the pumpkins (the ones on my porch that were grown in my garden!) for THIS contest... Might end up being more of a joke. Not sure I'm really "pumpkin carving contest material"...
2. Visit the local Fall Festival! Corn mazes (haunted and non-haunted), games, food. It's one of my favorite fall activities!
3. Visit a local Farmer's Market before they're all gone! I've NEVER been to one! GAH!
4. Shop at Gardner Village. One of the best places to go during Halloween.
5. Go to Lauren's house to watch Hocus Pocus and eat caramel popcorn and apples! YUM!
6. Take a drive up the canyon and enjoy the beautiful scenery... I better do this one ASAP or I'll miss it...
7. Have a bonfire up the canyon with a bunch of friends. :)
8. Figure out what I'm going to be for Halloween- REMEMBER I'm taking suggestions for this one! Leave your suggestion of what I should be in the comments!
I know there are more...
What's on your Fall "to-do" list??
HAPPY WEEKEEEEEND!!!

You decorations are fab-u-lous!!! I always have high hopes of putting some up but pretty soon its like the day before Halloween and I'm all like "what's the use?" so kudos to you! Also, all of your fall "to-do list" activities sound so fun.. Farmer's markets are so stinkin' fun! I hope you get to go to one. My garden this year was a test garden to see what grows well and what doesn't in our soil so I can start taking produce to farmer's markets near Chicago next year.. Hope you have a great day, doll :)
xo,
Janell
Love your decor!
Also THANK YOU FOR THE SWEET COMMENT! I am having an insane week! Not kidding and seeing a perfect stranger just say something so nice I needed to hear!
Cheers!
LOVE the decorations! I've been so boring this month and haven't gotten mine out yet :(
Hocus Pocus is one my favorites to watch around Halloween - it's such a classic! Sounds like fun with caramel popcorn and apples... yumm!!
Happy Friday and weekend, Gentri :)
Your pumpkins are so cute!! I'm afraid to put mine out yet as the squirrels always get to them!!
This is a fun To Do list if I ever saw one! Farm Markets are SO fun and I have Hocus Pocus on my list of movies to watch.
Good luck with the costume!!
XO,
Janie
Love your fall/halloween decorations! And it's so awesome that you grew those pumpkin yourself! I think I'm going to try doing that next year. I don't have much of a green thumb though, so that might not work out so well. & I can't wait to go to a corn maze also! <3
xo,
jessie
i NEED to watch hocus pocus asap!
haha i have yet to go pick pumpkins and am dying to do that. Cornmaze and apple picking have been checked off the list!!
xoxox
Oh man.... I totally wanted to go to a farmers market before they're all gone as well! Too bad tomorrow I'll be killing myself running the dang 10k instead.
And I had no idea Gardner Village is fun to go to during Halloween?? We went last year during Christmas and that was cute!
Loving your decorations! They're getting me into the Fall spirit!! Sounds like a great to-do list, too! I think my favorite thing on your list is the bonfire in the canyon - sounds like heaven :] Enjoy my dear!

Your house is looking super fun! :) Oh my gosh...Hocus Pocus...one of my favorite movies as a child! :)
Aw, I love the pumpkins! We're sadly not even getting real pumpkins this year because they're WAY too expensive. I'd rather put that money towards the kids' costumes.
I think you should be Snow White. Seriously, you'r face looks like hers!
I'm losing the energy to make my kids' costumes and getting major resistance towards the farm animal idea. The girls just want to be princesses...blah! So boring and predictable!
Oh i love all your halloween and fall decor!!! Especially the books, witches hat, and skeleton bust in the last photo! And those pale green pumpkins are awesome! I almost got some at the pumpkin patch we went to a couple days ago, but none were shaped very good. love yours though!
And I hope to make it to Gardner Village too!! Loved your fall to-do list :)
Happy Friday Gentri!!
you should be raggedy ann, thats what i wanted to be:)
Hey Gentri, Thanks for the comment, and for thinking about me and my disappearence! You can email me whenever you like, in fact I'd love to hace someone to talk to. I no longer have facebook, but my email is Natashalouisee@gmail.com
Love ya Gentri!
p.s LOVE the halloween decor, so cute!
Yay for Halloween decor! I started decorating my porch yesterday with pumpkins and gourds. Simple and happy :) I stay away from all the scary stuff. I hear the salt lake farmers market is the best!
Yay for carmelled apples and hocus pocus. I am counting down the days! :) I LOVE your decorations! Especially the books and witch hat on the mantle by the skull. AH! LOVE LOVE LOVE! :)
I hope you share photos of your carved pumpkins! That's one of my favorite things to do this time of year. (:
Oh and Hocus Pocus.... I just love that movie! Makes me want to watch it. Maybe you could dress up as one of the witches from the movie?! Do you have any other movie characters that you love... they could be fun to dress as? Either way, can't wait to see your costume.
oh i'm loving the decorations! get your butt to a farmers market now!!! enjoy!
i'm going sailing today! thats how fall is around here in ca. i miss utah!

love the decorations! you haven't been to a farmer's market?! you need to go! they are great...
Just found your blog. I love fall :) & making traditions/lists. We do the fair, pumpkin carving parties, + this year we're adding corn maze to the list. This weekend we are going to my sister's farm + going to a pumpkin farm! I'm excited!!!
CUTE DECORATIONS! And work is really putting a damper on my fall to do list because by the time I get off work, the couch calling my name is WAY louder than fun fall activities I have planned. That is depressing :(
i love pumpkins!
yay for fall!
p.s. later on today i'm posting a give-away :)

So in love with your fall to do. gosh isn't this the best season? every day my husband tells me how many days left til christmas. i say who cares, live in october while it last :)
What a timely post! As I was walking this morning, I somehow got thinking about all the fun fall decorations you have at your house every year :) One day I'll have a collection like that!
Cute checklist! Love all the decor. You have my number,if you're ever around P-Town area call meeeee! I have no friends (; hahaha.
New follower. Love your blog!
look at all that decorating!! i love the fall season, but i have to admit, i'm not a big halloween type girl. probably because i am a big scardy-cat and don't like scary movies and not a big fan of candy. BUT, i do love decorating. now if only i had the money to do it, ha

Totally jealous of all your decor. I haven't done anything. You have inspired me! I so wish I had a front porch for pumpkins. Stupid apartment. :)

Whaaaa? You GREW those pumpkins? That's freaking awesome. Not many people can say that. I'd almost have a hard time wanting to carve them lol.

This is a great list! Hubby and I already did the pumpkin patch/corn maze/hayride thing, and pumpkin spice lattes and muffins (twice!)
Now we still have to carve our pumpkins, watch Hocus Pocus, and eat gratuitous amounts of Halloween candy. :)
Spooky decorations!
Fall has got to be my favorite season because of the decor.
Xoxo
Oooh wow these photos make me feel excited for Halloween!
thats quite a list! I hope you get to check everything off. I am going to try and get my behind to the apple orchid asap. Nothing like a fresh homemade pie.
Love the decorations hun!!!
I can't wait to carve pumpkins. It's my favorite.
Have a great weekend lovey! xo.
Lovely! Don't you just adore fall? I think it's most people's favorite season. I love those little pumpkins!
Great seasonal to-do list :) And thank you for having such a great job! (And also for being a great reader of others' blogs, of course.)
I am so jealous of the caramel apples and popcorn and hocus pocus! I miss this film.
Ah! Fall is wonderful :)

Roots, Wings, and Other Things.
UMMM I think I am going to a corn maze tonight? I want to carve pumpkins...and greet all of our new neighbors in our new house haha. I'm trying to think what would be a good impression for the neighborhood? Do you watch Modern Family? I am thinking that one episode where they have a haunted house...
How about a skanky insect or something? You know, with the mini skirt & thigh high socks??
hahaha :) I kid, I kid.
Well, it's Spring time over here... I really, really need to write a Spring 'to do' list though. Everyone is talking about watching Hocus Pocus and now I desperately want to watch it again. Haven't seen it in YEARS :)
loving these decorations & your beautiful blog! :]
& i need to write a to-do list as well -- i keep saying i am going to but it seems to keep falling thru the cracks!
have a lovely weekend!
Your halloween decor is SO adorable! I love it. <3

I love your fall pictures! Have fun doing your list little lady!
Lindsay
oh lovely - you must go to a farmer's market! especially if we're gonna be friends ;)
PS. also working on carving a pumpkin.
These pictures are so pretty! Halloween is still not very popular in Malta.. so no one really decorates like that!
Silly girl! If you can grow pumpkins in your garden, you don't need to go to the farmer's market! Everything that you can buy there, you can grow it or make it yourself!
For Halloween, you can dress up as your favourite movie character.
ahh Hocus Pocus! time to pull out the halloween classics!
heck yeah! fall is the BEST! they're playing Hocus Pocus at the drive-in near my house. so cool!
my sis & i are doing pin-up inspired costumes. i'm being a sailor girl & my sis is being rosie the riveter. it should be fun ;)
I love this list! Especially #6, although I don't know Lauren haha :)
Fun decorations! And great list! I want to try visiting a pumpkin patch and make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!

Love your Fall to-do list1
Halloween isn't too popular in Norway, but I saw some pumpkins poppin' up in the stores the other day, so I might have to get one too :)
holy halloween decoration masterpieces! you are WAY ahead of the game lades, i haven't even begun to dig out our assortments yet. thanks for the insp! yah to corn maze - this is something i think we're going to next weekend provided the rain doesn't sog the fields too much ; )
i'm fresh out of costume ideas, trying to compile something for this year takes a bunch of mind power and the wattage has been low of late. good luck with sourcing something magical, i've no doubt whatever it is will rock total. xoox ♥
Oh it looks so nice! You really seem to celebrate Halloween! I wish we did... We usually just watch some scary movies and give candy to the kids...
