Gentri Lee: Scenes From the Weekend...

Scenes From the Weekend...

Last week I received this gorgeous necklace from Heart and Soul Pieces (see her blog HERE). I was so excited to wear it! I know these pictures are blurry. I wasn't doing too well in the photo taking department. Plus my camera's batteries are dead (it takes regular non-rechargeable batteries, lame.), so I had to use my phone. But you can still see how beautiful this necklace is. I highly suggest you all check out her shop and blog!

It even came in the cutest packaging! Opening mail is even more fun when it comes in pretty wrapping. :) I even placed the chain of the necklace in the shape of a heart for the photo (heart and soul pieces) get it? Huh?? haha! I'm lame, I know...

I also spent a few days hiking the hills around my house. The first picture is the morning sun coming down the canyon, it was so beautiful. I can't get enough of the mountains. The second picture are the sunflowers that are growing all over the hillsides. And the third picture was the view of the sunset from the hilltop.

I was also lucky enough to listen to a meeting for the women in my church. If you have some time to spare, I'd love if you listened to this talk. Wow. It was amazing and something we all need to hear, whether you're part of my religion or not. :) If you'd rather read about it, you can find that HERE.

P.S. If you are interested in sponsoring Gentri Lee for the month of October(/November) please go HERE for more information. :) There are still some spots open.

I love your hair, Gentri! I'll have to listen and/or read that talk sometime since I missed out on the conference. I want to go hiking so bad, but I have been given orders to rest as much as I can (not on bedrest... yet!). There's all these hikes I've been wanting to do, but Jon is usually gone every summer... now I'm pregnant! Ha.

Pretty necklace!! You're on a winning streak, girl :) And your pictures are so beautiful. I think all your pictures over the summer from Alaska and your cabin have made me want to go hiking this summer. This is a huge thing- I am very much an indoors kinda gal. I actually made a decision whilst out running this morning that I would definitely do it at least once this summer. Do you go by yourself? That's the thing that puts me off, being alone in a secluded place. I think I watch too many tv shows, I'm always worried about serial killers, haha!

Lastly (wow, this msg is getting long!), loved that message for your church. I have been hearing that a lot- to remember that God, the creator of the universe, loves ME! That thought is crazy!!! I mean, I always knew it... but I'm now starting to comprehend it! Wow :)
