Before heading out of Alaska, we had to make one last stop-
Matanuska Glacier
This thing is BEAUTIFUL! I love this glacier because you can literally walk right up and hike all over it! Although, the kids were very done by the end of the hike. Each of them had fallen at least 3 times and were crying... It is ice afterall... And it was actually kind of funny. :)
Please excuse the frizzy hair... Humidity is not my friend. Plus, I was road tripping. Who cares what you look like when you're going to be in a car for 4-13 hours?
We hiked the glacier to this gorgeous lake that has formed right in the middle of it! (not really in the middle. This thing is huge...)
Then we headed up to TOK where we ended up spending the night. We were originally planning on driving through the night and only made it until 2am. I was very ok with stopping...
The next day- it was off to Canada!
Goodbye Alaska... :'(
(notice my nephew in this picture. I love that pose of his. haha!)
Hello Canada!
(I told my niece to do a silly pose- and that's what she came up with...)
The rest of the road trip story will be coming tomorrow!
Be sure to enter the Alaska Giveaways! Only 4 of them are still open! Here are the links:

Im still jealous of your trip.
Goodness, the glacier loos AMAZING! The first picture is so so beautiful.
Holy smokes! That glacier is unbelieveable! So much so that I would think it was one of those template backgrounds that you can use to photoshop a photo of yourself in front of it...if it wasn't for the fact that you were blogging about it! It's amazing...what a great stop on a road trip. I would love to go to Alaska! Great photos :)

Woow, amazing pictures. Alaska is so breath taking! <3
It looks so stunning. Although I am with the kids, I would probably be crying too. I have this huge phobia of falling and breaking an arm or leg, so me and ice don't mix well.
Oh. My. Goodness.
Take me there now.
Wow, those glaciers are incredible! I'd love to see those in person someday.
Wow, best hike ever! (except for the kids falling part-that is sad!) Looks like a blast!
