Travel Time

Well, I made it to Alaska! Safe and sound, no real problems (wheeewww).

1. Waiting in Long Beach California on my layover
2. Sitting under the pay phone (guess those still exist) because it was the only place with an outlet
3. A whole row all to myself! I was able to spread out and go to sleep
4. Guess what snack I received on the plane! Animal Crackers! hahaha! Too perfect.

And a couple of texts I sent to my family while waiting. Yes I'm hilarious. (FYI we had a maltese named Pixie until last summer when she passed away- if you read the texts below this will make sense)

I'm going to get to as many of your blogs as possible today! But I'm sorry if I'm not as present as normal for a little while. :)

YAY, you made it!
I loved Parent Trap as a kid. I had recorded it off the TV onto VHS tape and even cut out pictures of the movie from the newspaper to decorate the tape cover. THAT is how cool I am.

Haha funny. I'm sure that person loved you looking at "them". And it is so hard to leave the dogs in the carriers on the plane! I always want to take mine out! Too bad you couldn't play with the Maltese!

Animal crackers? Really?? Too funny! And your memory of those crazy facts is quite amazing. If you're ever in a game show where that stuff is celebrated--my money is on you!

j said "this looks like jurassic park"

so we looked it up when we got home and it IS where jurassic park was filmed!!

but really, yours is just crazy cause that's such a petite detail (also, random: i've seen the second parent trap 22 times).

Bahaha this post totally proves that we are meant to be besties!! I seriously couldn't stop laughing reading this because everything you said was exactly what I would do! Except sadly I would probably take the dog longing a step further and ask if I could hold it! xoxo Have an amazing trip beautiful!

Hooray you made it safely!! Oh, and animal crackers are the best. I have a huge Costco sized container of them that tends to need refilling quite often..

You are not alone with useless information. I was just in New Orleans and was having dinner and realized I was in the same restaurant as Ashley Judd in Double Jeopardy
