Well, I made it to Alaska! Safe and sound, no real problems (wheeewww).
1. Waiting in Long Beach California on my layover
2. Sitting under the pay phone (guess those still exist) because it was the only place with an outlet
3. A whole row all to myself! I was able to spread out and go to sleep
4. Guess what snack I received on the plane! Animal Crackers! hahaha! Too perfect.
And a couple of texts I sent to my family while waiting. Yes I'm hilarious. (FYI we had a maltese named Pixie until last summer when she passed away- if you read the texts below this will make sense)
I'm going to get to as many of your blogs as possible today! But I'm sorry if I'm not as present as normal for a little while. :)

I loved Parent Trap as a kid. I had recorded it off the TV onto VHS tape and even cut out pictures of the movie from the newspaper to decorate the tape cover. THAT is how cool I am.
glad you got to your destination safely and enjoyed some yummy snacks. there's just something so classic about them! and ha! those texts are perfect.

Haha funny. I'm sure that person loved you looking at "them". And it is so hard to leave the dogs in the carriers on the plane! I always want to take mine out! Too bad you couldn't play with the Maltese!

but really, yours is just crazy cause that's such a petite detail (also, random: i've seen the second parent trap 22 times).
